Hello! My name is Dustin Wood. I'm a woodworker, maker, craftsman, tinkerer, U.S. Navy veteran—but most importantly, I’m the lucky husband to my wonderful wife, Tara, and proud father to our two amazing children.

We’re Georgia natives who have planted our roots on our multi-generational land, building our family home and life together. No matter how hectic life gets, we believe deeply in being together and supporting each other through every step.

That belief in family and support is what led us to create Vessel Barn.

Vessel Barn was born out of my lifelong passion for craftsmanship and making things with heart and purpose. While woodworking remains a core love of mine, our primary focus has become hand-poured soy candles—crafted with care, honesty, and a dedication to quality. Each candle is made by hand, right here at home, with the same intention and love we put into everything we do.

Together with my family, we’ll continue to carry Vessel Barn forward with warmth, integrity, and a whole lot of heart.
